Based on the rarity, value, and specific request of the client, we base the general fee estimate on the value of the item (MSRP, recent comparable sales, estimated market value, or appraisal values can be input variables) to.form the base price estimate. Then the services required by the client are added to customize the experience. Additional requests are agreed prior to execution, typically billed hourly. The final settlement is charged based on additional services rendered and the adjusted sales price of the item.
We are asked by our clients to acquire the rarest items on the planet. Often when the first contacts are made, the specific item requested is not readily available for sale and WishList must use expertise, connections, and network resources to locate, negotiate, and mediate the potential acquisition of similar items. We offer the following guarantee to our customers: We will diligently work to acquire all contracted requests. We will communicate at committed intervals with progress updates. We will devote ourselves to make every attempt to execute the detailed requirements of each transaction. We will treat each client with discretion.
Based on the nature of the business and the service levels required to meet the needs of discerning clientele, we must build our team and our cost structure around the volume of contracts we execute. With each contracted acquisition, we dedicate resources to the requirements to meet every need of the customer.
Once launched, we can ot offer any refunds, as work has commenced and overhead cost has been committed. If an item cannot be required to meet the requirements of the client, alternatives will be proposed until either: an acceptable item is proposed, the contract hours are met, or the client requests termination of the contract.
Can I transfer my payment towards a credit on another item? Our team specializes in unique categories. Often a new item (even different brands or models) require entirely separate approaches to source. Additional items requested will require a separate contract to begin the specialty sourcing process.
The process is very straight-forward. Typically customers fill out an inquiry form or simply call for more information. We gather information on what article is being requested. Then we email a private link with an estimate for the agreement. When the client agrees this is acceptable, they submit a preferred payment method and proof of funds to substantiate the ability to purchase the item requested. Once vetted, we submit an executable contract. Once executed and payment is received, we begin the contracted services.
The buyer always purchases the item directly. WishList Luxury does not offer a purchase/resale service, as most of the articles we acquire are rare, specific, and expensive. Often sellers will request that funds be held in escrow prior to showings of ultra-rare items. This is a contractual requirement that must be adhered to if requested by a seller. This escrow account is neutral, non-interest bearing, and is offered by WishList as a service to our clients and sellers. Fee structure is outlined in individual contracts.
WishList Luxury only sources items legal for purchase and sale in both the seller’s and buyer’s jurisdiction. We make every attempt to maintain knowledge of all applicable laws and ordinances, but we cannot possibly understand the intricacy of every requirement in every geographic area. With that said, there are no purchase limits, only the dreams of our clients and items they wish to possess.
WishList Luxury works diligently to define requirements, communicate seller’s advertised products, document claims and condition, and acquire approval prior to the execution of a sale. We offer independent validation services and recommend independent inspection prior to purchase of any item of significant value or provenance. We genuinely want each client to be thrilled with their dream purchases, but we cannot offer any return services. If there is an issue with the item, the buyer will need to address it using appropriate avenues such as manufacturer’s warranty or authorized service.

In instances of a language barrier, although we have many languages represented on our staff, we may employ an independent interpreter to ensure exemplary service. All clients who wish to employ our services are considered, and we make every effort to serve all potential customers. From time to time, when working on multiple projects with significant complexity, WishList Luxury may communicate to a client that their project cannot be accepted at this time in order to maintain the highest level of service for all existing clients. WishList Luxury thrives on acquiring unique items for elite clients from every facet of the world. We do not discriminate or choose clients specifically based on any criteria other than their ability to purchase their desired articles.
Many of the items we are contracted to acquire have remaining factory warranty, service contracts, or guarantees from the manufacturer. Most items we are requested to acquire are in new, like new, restored, or improved condition, and WishList Luxury cannot guarantee any item’s condition or functionality. WishList Luxury offers no warranty, expressed or implied, for any articles we are associated with any portion of a transaction therein.
Discretion is paramount as many of our clients have a public profile and do not wish to make their acquisition public. WishList Luxury always assumes a client wishes to remain discreet, and we work hard to honor that. We have a very limited social media presence by design, but linking accounts through relationships may somehow publicly insinuate a relationship. We diligently strive to protect every client’s privacy by limiting posts of both products and information, attempting to avoid inadvertent sharing of sensitive information. With that said, if any client receives exemplary service and wants to share a WishList Luxury post or disseminate a good experience to help us reach other valued clients, we welcome the support.
Much like WishList Luxury provides a link between sellers of rare items and buyers, DreamCatchers are exclusive individuals who provide a link between WishList Luxury and new clients. We welcome anyone to apply to become a DreamCatcher. We will review all applications, and qualifying candidates will receive a personalized referral packet by mail. The physical referral object should be given to a high-potential client. If that client completes a transaction with WishList Luxury, the DreamCatcher will receive a token of appreciation (not a monetary commission) and a replacement object for additional potential referrals. The personalized appreciation gift is completely at the discretion of WishList Luxury and should not be considered a commission.
